OUR HISTORY

A History of Excellence

We have a history of helping students discover the joy of participating in the arts. Our classes develop their natural musical talents. We provide lessons in all instruments, dance acting and martial arts. We use Prodigy Preschool Music to prepare preschool students for the discipline of taking music classes. During our over 20 year history, we find our best students begin with preschool music and go on to become multi disciplined musicians and performers.

Local Student Performance

Prodigy does a local business outreach to help our students gain real world performance experience. Our students are in commercials for such businesses as Margarita’s Cafe and Carvel Ice Cream in East Meadow. Performing is only one aspect of a well rounded student. Future goals include setting up relationships with local Senior Living Centers to connect students and seniors. Through these efforts Prodigy students will become excellent citizens as well as performers.

A History Of Creativity

We believe that every child is creative. It is important that family, teachers, and the community support artists as they find their voice. Speaking of how he came to his discovery of the theory of relativity, Einstein said, “I discovered it through music.” Our future depends on the Arts!
