This variety helps students stay motivated and expands their skills. Furthermore, performance opportunities are available for both soloists and ensemble players at our recitals.

Students participating in our lessons prepare thoroughly for NYSSMA. They learn to play their chosen piece with accuracy and confidence. They also master scales with the right balance of precision and musical expression. Success in NYSSMA comes from steady application of taught skills, so teachers reinforce daily practice habits. Many school districts now host virtual NYSSMA festivals. To support this, we offer both short-term and long-term preparation. Students may choose in-person or virtual instruction.
